Job Description
General:
Perform technical accounting research in support of complex transactions
Assist and potentially lead special projects focused on accounting and controls related matters directly and onsite with the local business units.
Provide key support for Financial and Control audits, working directly with internal and external auditors.
Assist the Controller's Group with the monthly and quarterly close.
Process and Controls:
Maintain a strong internal control environment.
Ensure the adequacy of accounting processes and procedures to safeguard assets through proper controls, reconciliations, and documentation.
Monitoring of the Financial Statements for accuracy, as well as analysis of reserves.
Qualifications
BS in Accounting; CPA preferred.
Minimum 5 years of financial reporting experience with diversified accounting background. Big Four accounting experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of financial procedures and practices.
Strong time management, decision making, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Solid technical research skills.
Solid analytical and problem solving skills.
Proven oral, written, and listening skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with confidential issues.
Experience in working within a fast paced, complex, dynamic environment.
Ability to travel as required by the needs of the business.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
