COMPLIANCE MANAGER - Private Equity Firm
Location Lower Manhattan Company Description Our Client specializes in domestic and international equity investing, using an aggressive growth style, with the objective of capital appreciation. Duties The Compliance Manager is responsible for managing assigned staff and completing individual duties to ensure the business and the Firm's activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements. This individual will also assist the Chief Compliance Officer in developing, implementing and monitoring firm-wide compliance procedures and programs. Additionally he or she will be responsible for assigned compliance activities for the registered broker-dealer, investment adviser, and investment company. Requirements The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in addressing complex compliance issues. The candidate must be an articulate and persuasive communicator, both verbally and in writing. A minimum of 5-7 years of securities-related experience; legal, accounting and compliance background is preferred. Previous supervisory experience preferred. A Bachelor's degree is required; professional degree or designation is desirable. Strong detail orientation and good listening skills are a must. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. Compensation Six-figure position, commensurate with experience. Apply online for consideration. |
