Assistant Controller - Established Fund of Funds

Reports To
Chief Financial Officer

Greenwich, Connecticut

Scope and Responsibility
  • Assist in the administration of the Funds and affiliated entities including accounting for capital contributions, managers reporting, bank reporting functions (wire transfers, etc.), distributions to investors, payments of fees, Tax returns, and other financial matters. It is expected that the individual will assume greater responsibility for certain areas over time.
  • Responsible for preparing information and support for monthly and annual financial statements for the Funds and affiliated entities.
  • Responsible for preparing all bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare the support of all financial reporting of investments, preparation of internal NAV and other reports.
  • Assume over time the responsibility for maintaining contacts with Bankers, Tax Advisors, Auditors, and Managers' representatives.

  • Background Required
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience and willing to work as a member of a small working team.
  • Experience in accounting and administration of Limited Partnerships preferred, but not required
  • Experience in a public accounting firm preparing financial statements or tax returns of Limited Partnership, LLC and Corporate regulations (including general understanding of tax issues) preferred but not required
  • Very good working knowledge of Excel and other presentation applications
  • Detail oriented, autonomous and a self-starter who is concerned with timeliness

  • Compensation
    Projected total compensation for this position will be up to $100K.
